It got real bad
I was praying for an end to the pain inside of my head
I don't know where it went wrong
but I recall lying face down on the floor, crying out my eyes to the lord
my mother tried to bring me back to life
and it worked

when you're 30 years old, moving home doesn't feel like a win
but that's a lie
cuz the people who care are the angels that'll always be there
and I'm thankful for them
cuz lonliness tried to do me in
now the doctors tell me that I've got a chance
I hope they're right
and I'll swallow all of their pills if it keeps me out of this hell
growin up as a loser never that right
